Partner Yoga – Deeper Stretches The Fun Way

When we think of partner Yoga, we think of lovers, closeness and intimacy. Not necessary… Partner Yoga can be done with your friend, a buddy, your mother, father, son, daughter, siblings, colleagues or anyone. Partner Yoga simply means 2 or more people joining together to deepen the impact and experience of your yoga practice.

Oftentimes our ego leads us to believe that our Yoga practice is simply easier done on our own-we can avoid dealing with the needs and feelings of someone else.

Partner Yoga seeks to dispel this myth and rather makes us realize that we are interdependent. With the help of a partner, we are empowered to go much deeper with much less effort.

Partner yoga with your loved ones, helps deepen your relation, trust and understanding with your partner.

Partner yoga overall gives you ability to go deeper into your stretches and also hold the stretch for longer periods, by which health benefits of Yoga are better and faster.

Previous Yoga experience is not even required for partner Yoga, although it can b helpful for some of the more advanced poses.

Munishwer, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Yogic Science & Human Conscious from GurukulKangari University, Haridwar, India,  is a passionate, inspiring and a highly skilled teacher dedicated to uplifting his students. He not only uses Yoga as an accurate and therapeutic science but also as a creative and graceful art.
