300 Hours Program – 200 hours in contact class and 100 hours application under teachers’ guidance
The whole program is divided into 5 courses of 70 hrs – 50 hrs contact class & 20 hrs practice time.
Course 1 – Yoga Therapy for Back, shoulder, neck and Spine care, July 17 – August 1, 12 days – weekday (4 hours a day, 1:00pm -5:00pm)
Course 2 – Yoga Therapy for Psychosomatic issues, May 15 – 26, 10 days – weekday ( 5 hours a day)
Course 3 – Yoga Therapy for Obesity & Diabetes, August 14- August 25, 10 days – weekday ( 5 hours a day)
Course 4 – Yoga Therapy for Arthritis & Joint Care, September 4-15, 10 days – weekday, ( 5 hours a day)
Course 5 – Yoga Therapy for Asthma & Allergies, November 13-24,10 days – weekday, ( 5 hours a day)
These 5 courses cover all aspect of the Yoga Therapy and make the students capable to heal a person provided the client is ready and willing to do all required towards their healing.

Why Yoga Ashram Yoga Therapy Teacher t raining Program?
- Yoga Ashram started in 2014 and we have had Yoga Therapy sessions and been healing many people through our 1-1 sessions or through group yoga classes using yoga therapy and which has bought a difference to many people. The classes used for yoga therapy are Swasthya Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Relaxing Yoga, Beginner Yoga Classes, Yoga with Props, Traditional Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Pranayama, yoga & meditation, Yin Yoga and recently we have added Sound Healing meditation sessions too.
- Since our opening, we have conducted numerous workshops and masterclasses towards Yoga Therapy.
- Yoga Ashram has been conducting Yoga Teacher Training programs since 2015.
- This training is for all – serious yoga students who want to deepen their practice, and aspiring people who want to do something to help themselves and others to heal naturally*.
- We have our own in-house qualified and experienced yoga therapy instructors taking the classes, workshops, Masterclasses and teacher training programs.
- Our participants are given an opportunity to lead classes at our studio.

Yoga Therapy Teacher Certification - Overview
- Each course is of 70 hours of which 50 hrs will be contact classes & 20 hrs practice time.
- Each course is of 2 weeks class sessions of 5 hours each day for 10 days. Followed by 8 weeks practice time.
- Minimum 3 case studies per workshop should be done.
- First 3 days classes will focus on general Theory & philosophy and next 7 days classes

Has close to 12 years of experience in clinical yoga therapy – he has successfully worked with hundreds of clients on their spinal, joint-related, and muscular issues. Vibin, as he is popularly called, also specializes in Martial Arts – Kalari and Karate, Ayurveda, Pranayama, Shatkarma, Panchakarma, Sivananda Yoga, Weight loss, Yoga Anatomy, physical instructing, and fitness training.

Dhvani graduated with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (Orthopaedics) from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, India (Year 2013-2017). As a licensed Physiotherapist registered by the Dubai Health Authority and the Indian Association of Physiotherapists. After her Post Graduation Diploma in Dietetics & Nutrition from Symbiosis College, Pune (2018-2020) She got Certified in STOTT Mat Pilates (2019), Yoga & Prenatal and Postnatal Rehabilitation (2018) thus, she offers a Holistic approach in treating every condition.
Dr. Jaya Harikumar
Theory Teacher
Is a yoga, wellness, and metaphysical teacher with a doctorate in Metaphysics from University of Sedona. For the last 15 years, Jaya has been working as a yoga teacher, Ayurveda & Vaastu consultant, and life coach. She is also known for her kind, warm, and loving presence as well as for being a powerhouse of yogic knowledge and holistic living. Hailing from Kerala in India, Jaya has lived in Dubai for the last 35 years. Jaya is ERYT-200 and YACEP.
Kavita Pillay
Yoga Instructor
Has over 15 years of experience in yogic sciences. She holds two Masters Degrees – Master in Human Consciousness and Yogic Science as well as a Masters in Philosophy – Yoga Nidra. Since 2015, Kavita has been a yoga teacher trainer – conducting teacher

Shashank is a young yoga instructor specializing in Hatha and Ashtanga-vinyasa traditions. Psychosomatic means mind (psyche) and body (soma). A psychosomatic issue is a disease which involves both the mind and body. Some physical diseases are thought to be particularly prone to be made worse by mental factors such as stress and anxiety. Your mental state can affect how bad a physical disease is at any given time.
Diseases which are psychosomatic are all mental issues:
