Q. I am new to yoga. Which classes should I do?

You can ease into your yoga practice with our classes on hatha yoga, meditative yoga, Sri Sri Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, sound healing, yin yoga and Gentle flow yoga. Before starting any yoga class, please do inform the instructor of any existing physical conditions or medical issues you may have. At any time during the class be aware of your own physical limitations – if any posture seems challenging, encroach it slowly and gently, listening to your own body.

Q. What do I need to do before a class?

Please have your last meal at least 3 hours before a yoga class. Make sure you are wearing comfortable clothes and the body is well-hydrated.

Q. What do I need to bring to the studio for my yoga class?

Please bring your own mat, water bottle, and towel in line with the COVID-19 safety regulations. You can also bring a bag to keep your shoes in.

Q. What is vinyasa?

Q. What is the price of a yoga class?

The cost of a single session is 100 AED for a studio class and 50 AED. Kindly refer to our pricing section here for packages and discounts.

Q. How is COVID-19 safety regulations maintained at Yogaashram?

  1. Entry without mask is not permitted
  2. Temperature checks are carried out on entry
  3. Classes are spaced out in terms of timing to avoid crowding at the reception area
  4. Class limits are capped to allow for maximum social distancing
  5. Daily cleaning of the studio rooms are carried out 
  6. Daily sanitizer spray is used
  7. Participants bring their own mat, filled water bottle, and towel 
  8. All the props used are sanitized after class by the participants as well as by Yogaashram
